Even Better Success!! Pt. 6

On Wednesday the 22nd we fired the gas kiln. I was able to mix 14 different recipes for testing. Most of them are simply variations on a base recipe. The primary goal was to fix the dunting issue. Adding onto that I’ve tried some tests to alter the color of the clay. And I must say IT WAS A SUCCESS!!!

For the photos taken below, the left cylinder was in a cool spot of the kiln. The right cylinder was in a hotter spot with some slight oxidation.

Both pots were glazed with the same glaze.

The photos below correspond with the ones above. So from right to left, top row to bottom, the recipes match. I only used one photo for the clay color because the variation only showed up in the glaze.
